My inital idea is to create a magazine targetted at the mass youth market. Targetting not only a specific group of people e.g Emos, Gangsters. But to aim to target the majority of the youth culture. For instance, according to my survey results and from personal knowledge of friends and family, I know that many youths can be intersted in more than one type of music. Obviously Metal and R&B and completely different therefore I will not include that collaboration, but R&B, Grime work reasonably well together. I also know from personal knowledge of the peers, that Many people enjoy Indie/Alternative and R&B music. I thought of creating a magazine that is all about RnB/Hip Hop and Grime music, because there are not many in the UK, where as there are many Indi/Alternative music magazines such as the NME. I know American has VIBE Magazine which is a large RnB magazine but there are not many well known in the UK. 
I researched personal interests such as consumer's favorite drinks, what they spend their money on, how much money do they have to spend, personal technological items, and favorite gam consols to get an idea of what consumer's like. This gives me an idea of what I can advertise in my magazine that would make it more successfull.
